State Senator Stephanie Kunze | The Ohio Senate
State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) acknowledged Emily Brown, a senior at Dublin Coffman High School, in the Ohio Senate today. Brown recently won the Division I State championships in the 200-yard individual medley (IM) and the 100-yard butterfly.
"It has been a privilege to honor Emily on the Senate Floor over the last few years," Kunze stated. "She demonstrates dedication to her sport, school, and community, and I look forward to all that she will accomplish athletically and academically in the future."
Brown's recent victories make her an eight-time individual state champion. She established new state records in both the 200 IM (1:57.27) and the 100 fly (52.69). Furthermore, Brown has committed to continue her swimming career at the University of Tennessee this upcoming fall.
