Sunday, Feb. 23: Dublin Coffman High School standout Marti Henkel’s college team loses to Syracuse Orange

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Dublin Coffman High School standout Marti Henkel’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Syracuse Orange.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Orange this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 5 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Liberty Lady Flames.
