Friday, Feb. 21: Dublin Coffman High School standout Marti Henkel’s college team loses to Georgia Bulldogs

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Dublin Coffman High School standout Marti Henkel’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Syracuse Orange.
