On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Dublin Coffman High School standout Marti Henkel’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, lost 10-9 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Jane B. Moore Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Georgia Bulldogs.
