State Senator Stephanie Kunze | The Ohio Senate
State Senator Stephanie Kunze acknowledged the Thomas Worthington Girls Water Polo Team for their achievement as the 2024 state champions. The recognition took place in Columbus.
"I am thrilled to recognize these student-athletes on the Senate Floor today," stated Kunze. "These young women fought hard throughout the entire game and secured the title in the last 34 seconds. I look forward to seeing what this team will accomplish in the years to come."
The victory marks the Cardinals' first championship win since 2009 and their second overall.
