The City of Hilliard has hired Angie Jarosik as an HR Generalist in the Human Resources department.

Jarosik brings two decades of experience in human resources and customer service to her new role. She will assist the department in a variety of recruitment, training, and personnel functions.

“Hilliard is a great place to live, work, and raise a family, and I’m excited to be able to give back to the community where I’m so involved,” Jarosik said. “There’s so much growth here and a lot of exciting things going on, so this job is really the perfect fit.”

Jarosik worked for BMW Financial Services for nearly 20 years, where she most recently served as a Training Analyst for internal training activities. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Human Resource Management from Ohio University in 2003.

In her new role with the City of Hilliard, Jarosik will administer the City’s performance evaluation software and provide training to supervisors and employees. She also will lead the City’s Wellness Committee programs and events, re-establish the City’s safety team, and provide talent management support to all City departments, among other duties.

“I love interacting with people and being approachable to employees while hopefully being a trusted resource for them,” Jarosik said. “My goal is to help streamline our processes to make them more efficient and consistent. I also hope to make an impact on people’s lives through the wellness program here.”

Jarosik lives in Hilliard with her husband Andy and sons Lincoln and Beckett. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, and watching her kids play sports.
