At this special Dublin Off the Clock: An After Hours event hosted by the Embassy Suites Dublin, those attending will meet and honor Dublin's Businessperson of the Year!

The Businessperson of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual who has positively contributed to the betterment of Dublin’s business community. The recipient demonstrates superior leadership and service to Dublin and helps make this community a better place to live and work. The Businessperson of the Year participates in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Chamber’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration. This award is a noble way to recognize business leaders who give back to better the Dublin community.

Those in attendance will meet and honor Dublin's Businessperson of the Year recipient, EASE Logistics President and CEO Peter Coratola Jr.

“Peter received many outstanding nominations citing his work in building EASE Logistics from the ground up, creating partnerships throughout the region and for his commitment to building and growing his business in Dublin,” said Dublin Chamber Board President Scott Arthur. “In addition, as the leader of the company, he sets the example for his employees through philanthropic donations of both time and resources to more than two dozen nonprofit organizations in our community.”

Coratola founded EASE in Dublin in 2014 in the back of his father’s office with the goal of changing the narrative of third-party logistics. His mission was to make a positive impact on the industry, in his community and among his employees.

Focusing on innovation, philanthropy, collaboration, and sustainability, he has led EASE to become a locally and nationally award-winning business. It’s the #7 fastest-growing company in Central Ohio; a five-time Inc. 5000 company; a top third-party logistics company in the country; and a Top Company for Women to Work For in Transportation.

EASE currently is in the midst of a notable expansion to a 150,000 square-foot global headquarters in Dublin and is leading the way for innovations in smart mobility by serving as the host fleet partner for the DriveOhio and Ohio Department of Transportation semi-truck automation projects designed to make roads safer for drivers, passengers, freight, and communities. The company also is the official logistics partner of the Columbus Crew and an active supporter of community programs and nonprofit organizations including the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, OneDublin and NBC4’s “Stuff the Backpack” campaign.

Coratola is a recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of The Year award, a Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 honoree, a Dublin Jerome High School Hall of Fame inductee, a five-time Smart 50 honoree and the 2022 winner of the Smart 50 Impact Award. He serves on the Dublin Business Advisory Council, The Ohio State University Logistics Council and has been an OhioX Tech Tour panelist.

Coratola will be honored at the March 28 Dublin Chamber Off the Clock event at Embassy Suites Dublin and featured in an upcoming City of Dublin parade.
