If you are an avid or occasional Grove City biker. We Need You!

Grove City Council established a Bicycle Transportation Task Force and is seeking volunteers to assist with exploring the following:

  1. Identify connection points/routes to the Darby Park/Camp Chase Trail and to Downtown Columbus;
  2. Work with other communities/entities to invoke connectivity through cooperative agreements;
    1. Task Force members are encouraged to invite other political jurisdictions and organizations to participate in their meetings to assist in achieving the tasks.
  1. Focus will be given to safe routes using existing roads, railroads, and stream corridors;
  2. Work with city’s engineer to provide cost estimates;
  3. Identifying Grants to assist in funding these efforts;
  4. Coordinate any efforts with respect to the Bicycle Friendly America work being done by the City;
  5. Provide a report to Council by September 7, 2023.
Council is also seeking to obtain Bicycle Friendly America accreditation. This Task Force may review this area as well.
