Sarah Hollingsworth (’22) | Franklin University

In honor of Women’s History Month, Franklin University continues its features celebrating the great contributions made by its community of online learners and alumna, starting with project manager, Sarah Hollingsworth (’22).
Sarah's path into the financial industry was not straightforward, graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Classics and Ancient History, and starting as a teller in a retail branch for Chase.

Sarah has remained at Chase for over 20 years, holding many roles from business analyst to project manager, with a heavy focus on delivering a quality customer experience. Such positions include assistant branch manager, for which Sarah was responsible for training employees on new teller platforms, requiring Sarah to travel across the United States. Additionally, as a business analyst, Sarah was responsible for generating and evaluating reporting to support regulatory requirements.

Most recently, Sarah transitioned to project manager, where she has managed such projects as migrating applications to new infrastructure and feature delivery work to improve the customer experience. Sarah goes on to say, "Every day I try to remember I am seeing a customer on potentially the best or worst day of their life, and if in any way I can make that experience even a little better, I have been successful."

Sarah continued her studies by enrolling at Franklin University and majoring in Data Analytics, graduating in the Fall of 2022. In addition to her studies and working full-time, she is the married mother of three school-aged children and enjoys volunteering with her husband in their spare time.
