Hilliard City Council seeks to fill a partial term on the City’s Public Arts Commission (“PAC”).
Candidates shall be residents of the City of Hilliard and qualified by education, experience and/or training in one or more of the following areas: architecture, urban planning, art or architectural history, design, creating art, promoting art, funding art, commissioning art, maintaining or repairing art, art instruction or having an education in art history and/or the fine arts.
Generally, the PAC advises City Council and the City Manager on the implementation of a public arts program, including the funding, selection, acquisition, maintenance and placement of public art in the City. The Public Arts Commission meets at 5 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at the Municipal Building, 3800 Municipal Way, Hilliard.
Residents interested in applying for the vacant seat should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Diane Werbrich, Clerk of Council by Oct. 28, at the close of business at councilclerk1@hilliardohio.gov.
