#FeatureFriday: Dr. Leslie Hall, Conference Speaker, Researcher, and International Business Educator

Retired from the Department of Agriculture in 2006, Dr. Hall held a wide range of roles within the agency for 33 years, with a focus on large group facilitation and problem resolution. Dr. Hall took great pride in supporting teams and leadership development within the human resources department. In addition, he also aided in project management functions of data warehouse development. His passion for the development and understanding of computer systems and social connections has served him with a rewarding career experience.

Prior to the Department of Agriculture, Dr. Hall held many skilled titles as an air traffic controller, union organizer, and entrepreneur, which included a construction company and nursery and landscaping business.

Transitioning into retirement, Dr. Hall combined his business and government experience with his educational accomplishments; imparting his expertise in the classroom setting – both traditionally and online through his business management courses as an adjunct with many colleges and universities across the globe. As a scholar himself, Dr. Hall shared “If you want to know a subject teach it; learning is a continual process, the more knowledge you acquire the more questions you have. Learning and teaching are codependent.”

Dr. Hall holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership (MASCL), a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management (MAOM), and lastly a Doctor of Business Administration.

Outside of the classroom setting, Dr. Hall is devoted to his work in charity fundraising and student food insecurity in college. In addition to his research work and publications, Dr. Hall is committed to public speaking and leadership development with Toastmaster International.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says '内 UNIVERSITY FRANKLIN " am extremely proud to be a graduate of Franklin University. By starting with the end in mind, the DBA program helped me visualize how would use my degree and the impact it could have on my career, as well as the world. Franklin's DBA program is designed to provide a larger experience.
