Kurt Hoeft studied Finance and Applied Statistical Analysis at Miami University. Upon graduation, Kurt quickly fell into the technology field working as a programmer where he confirmed his passion for technology.
Kurt and his brother Eric Hoeft, who shared the same passion for technology, discussed how they could use their passion for technology to impact the community and business owners positively. Kurt and Eric teamed up in 1998 to open Capital City Consulting, now known as EasyIT. EasyIT is a repeat Central Ohio Fast 50 Company, and recently a member of the Inc. 5000.
Kurt spends most of his time serving as the visionary for EasyIT. He manages all customer facing activity, including sales and account management, while also holding the role of Virtual Chief Technology Office (VCTO) for over 50 clients. Kurt’s passion is understanding each client's business goals, and then implementing a plan to ensure the company has the technology in place to achieve those goals while keeping their employees productive and their data secure.
