The City of Hilliard stands with the LGBTQ+ community in support and action.
This year marks the one-year anniversary of Hilliard Ordinance 21-17, which addresses unlawful discriminatory practices in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
Hilliard now has 14 protected classes as part of City Code 525.19, one of the most comprehensive lists among local municipalities. Watch the video to hear from the people who lobbied and researched to make this ordinance a reality.
As part of the legislation, City Council also enacted a process to address those discrimination complaints. The form can be found here: https://hilliardohio.gov/non-discrimination-2/
