The City of Franklin recently issued the following announcement.
On Monday, City Council approved the purchase of officer body-worn cameras for the Franklin Ohio Police Department.
"City officials said the safety of the officers and citizens is a priority, and the body cameras compliment the Tasers and other equipment used by officers."
